Our family is originally from the Los Angeles, California area and most recently lived in Pacific Palisades (between Santa Monica and Malibu) for the last 12 years, but we are now spread out across the world!
Chris and Trista are currently serving as mission leaders in Madrid Spain for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from July 2022 until June 2025. Aly and Bryson are with us attending school and learning Spanish! Josh is also serving a mission for the Church in Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania through July 2024. Zach is working and attending college in Utah and caring for our family dog, Ajax, with the help of his amazing girlfriend Shelby.
We enjoy traveling together (our favorite spot so far is New Zealand), exploring nature, playing sports (especially tennis, beach football and billiards), doing puzzles, playing games (Apples to Apples and Rumikub are current favorites), trying new foods and going to concerts. Bryson prefers Legos, Minecraft and Marvel movies; Aly is a ballet, modern and jazz dancer and animal lover; Josh enjoys playing football and managing his fantasy teams (he’s just a tad bit competitive); and Zach is a multiple-instrument musician, outdoor enthusiast and aspiring architect.
Professionally, Chris worked for almost two decades at a private equity firm in Los Angeles after beginning his career in corporate law. Trista is a licensed dental hygienist and full-time managing director of the Eastland family circus.
