An exciting start and a frustrating delay . . .
This week Chris, Trista, Aly and Bryson are continuing to wait for our visas to Spain to be approved, while Josh starts his “homeless” missionary training center experience on Independence Day!
In truth, we aren’t actually homeless – more like nomads. But we are grateful to Trista’s mom, Brenda, who took in our vagabond crew and transformed her home office into a “Home MTC” so that Josh could have a quiet place to begin his missionary training.
We are excited for him to be companions with Elder Maxwell and Elder Gallegos, both of whom will be going to Latvia with him in September. We were fortunate to meet Elder Maxwell’s parents at the MTC two weeks ago, as they will be serving as the new mission leaders in Boise, Idaho. Such a treat for these three young men to be able to serve together.
